Meghan Ringler, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Welcome! Wherever you are in your therapy journey, I’m happy you’ve stumbled to my page. Taking the step to pursue therapy is a big one! It requires vulnerability, uncertainty and most importantly hope! I look forward to walking alongside you in this journey towards meaningful change. Therapy can come in all shapes and sizes, it can be challenging, fun, humorous, emotional and even a bit awkward at times. All of these feelings are allowed and highly encouraged.

In our work together, we will work towards relating differently to the difficulties that arise within our complex lives. Through learning the interconnection of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors we can then move towards making meaningful change.

My approach to therapy involves collaboration and meeting clients where they are at in their life experiences. I use humor, compassion, and empathy to empower clients not only in the therapy room, but in their daily life. I believe there is so much power in connection, it is my goal to make our therapy space safe, affirming and comfortable as we begin to dig into the sticking points of life.

I enjoy working with clients with a variety of presenting issues including, anxiety, OCD, depression, life transitions, workplace difficulties/burn out, therapy for therapists, grief and loss.

Experience

I have extensive experience and training in treating anxiety related disorders and OCD through an evidence based lens that includes CBT, ERP, and ACT based approaches. I have a keen interest in working with those who experience intrusive thoughts and OCD subtypes. Through my experience I can say that tolerating uncertainty, and living life outside of our comfort zone is a vital step towards living an uplifting and fulfilling life.
